Morada, Tierra Amarilla Song
In 2006 during the dedication of the new morada at Ensenada, New
Mexico, near Tierra Amarilla, Archbishop Michael Sheehan was
honored by the Penitente Brothers and the attendees by singing a
tribute to the Archbishop.  The crucifix on the back wall was
sculpted by Ruben Archuleta and blessed by Archbishop Sheehan.
The words to the song are available below the video.

(Note:  The video was taken by a small pocket camera held over the heads of
the congregation so the video is shaky and not the best quality.)

T
he following words were copied verbatim from the program.  You may note that some of the
words are not in the proper Spanish, they are "Spanglish," the way we speak Spanish in
southern Colorado and northern New Mexico.
